about me

Who I am

I care about the long-term stability of organizations and leaders. My passion is making sure that leaders have what they need in order to get the job done without sacrificing themselves, and organizations have what they need to ensure stability. Whether you’re looking for support for your executive team, long-term transition planning, or even an interim executive, I’m here to help.

My Experience

After 20 years in the public and non-profit sectors, I bring a broad knowledge of the issues and intersections faced every day in social service arenas, and a deep understanding of the lives of those impacted. Much of my time has been spent as a leader of LGBTQ+ organizations of various sizes, including as Executive Director of a community center, and as Director of Programs for the largest LGBTQ+ organization in the world.

Whether you’re looking for a leader who can unite and inspire teams to greatness, or a technician who can evaluate complex problems and provide creative solutions, my unique set of skills and experience can provide innovation, efficiency, and inspiration.

Program Development

At the Los Angeles LGBT Center, I was responsible for all programs in the first-of-its-kind, multi-generational campus for LGBTQ+ young people and older adults. There, I worked with a team of directors to expand programs, develop cross-department, intergenerational collaborations, and create a culinary arts training program and social enterprise from the ground up.

Fundraising

AIDS/LifeCycle is the world’s largest single-event, annual HIV fundraiser. As Director of the Southern California office, I was responsible for community and corporate engagement, participant recruitment, fundraising, training, and stewardship efforts. In that role, I led a team that raised more than $25 million for HIV services.
